Interview with @chrispirillo
Sunday, April 26, 2009 at 1:24PM
For my last interview of my Seattle trip, I sat down with Chris Pirillo. Over the course of the extended interview we talked about several topics, some Twitter-related, some not. Conversation points included:
- Difference between having a million vaguely interested followers versus tens of thousands of hard-core followers.
- Has Twitter "Jumped the Shark"?
- Should followers and following stats be hidden from public view?
- What does Chris do when he's not streaming live from his office?
The quality of the video didn't come out as good as it should have. Chris let me use his Creative Vado HD since the batteries in my Flip died a minute into the interview. I have been cropping video on my HP Mini netbook. The higher quality video from the Vado was more than my puny netbook could handle. Add to that I don't have proper software for doing "real" editing and had to settle for Windows Movie Maker.
Future interviews for Twitter Road Trip should be of much better quality. I will be purchasing an HD camcorder and a laptop with 1GB of video RAM, nice!
